Brownies.....When Your Watching Your Weight?....

You bet you can bake your brownies and even eat some to without guilt. I discovered a new way to make brownies without using all the bad for you oil. Now just a word of warning before you read any further......as this recipe is not for the weak at heart. If you can just get past the thought of what is being used in the brownie I know you can make them to and enjoy them as they are so good. They even fooled my hubby which is a very hard thing to do.

1 box brownie mix

1 can black beans

1 egg white

Drain and rinse the black beans. Also rinse the can they came in. Put the rinsed beans

back into the can and fill up to the top with water. Empty the beans/water into a food

processor or blender and blend well. You don't want to have any full size beans in the batter.

Add the pureed beans to the brownie mix add the egg white. Stir about 40 stokes.

Spray 13x9x2 pan with non stick spray add the batter. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 for 25 minutes. Let cool and enjoy them!!!! You can also if you like shake powdered sugar on top.

Now go ahead....I dare you to try them. You can see by the picture that my family has been enjoying them. If you are on Weight Watchers and are counting points these are 1 point per piece.
Just stop going EWWWWWW they really are good! LOL
Had weigh in today lost another pound. YAY. My short term goal is to lose 20 by the end of August. I have a good start. I've lost 2 towards that goal only 18 more to go.

Now, that is interesting. I've had the brownies where you use the mix and pumpkin from the can and I love those. Good recipe...thanks!

I made these brownies a couple of months ago and did not tell my husband what was in them. After about 3 days, he asked me what kind they were and I told him they were Meijers low fat (acutally the box of brownie mix was). He said he really did not like the taste. I told him to try ice cream or cool whip and he said that he did not think that would help. After about a month I told him there were black beans in them. He gets a little nervous when I cook. Actually, I thought the brownies were really good, especially when you think about how healthy they are.
