Techno Lunchtime Sketch #226

I was looking for something to make yesterday and I went to Mary Jo's blog and found this week's lunchtime challenge. Since I'm still thinking Fall I used Day of Gratitude stamp set. Colors: Elegant Eggplant, Cajun Craze, Vanilla, Espresso, and More Mustard. Love these colors together for Fall.

Had a good workout day. Did 45 on the treadmill, but stepped it up a bit. After doing 15 minutes I got off and did lunges around the garage, then got back on the treadmill and repeated the lunges every 5 minutes of treadmill time. I think that really boosted up my cardio.

Did some cleaning that needed to be done, did some stamping. Viewed the Stampin'Up! website lots of times to see if my order had shipped. Started my new afternoon job, and did some stamping. Not a bad day.

Happy Tuesday

I was a disappointed Saturday night with the clouds in the sky. Me and hubby went out for a moonlit walk to check out the Super Moon, but was hard to see due to the clouds. I did manage to snap this picture in our backyard. It is sort of cool to see the moon through the trees. At any rate this picture inspired today's card, along with the help of Mary Jo's great layout.

Base card cream, layers: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, River Rock, and Timeless Portrait designer paper. Stamp set Forever Young. Word is from a retired SU set. I was so happy that the perfect word was easy to find since I grouped "like" word stamps together last week. Rainy and gloomy day yesterday, but we got some awesome thunder and lighting. Which I just love! I did check the weather for the week. The rain is suppose to be gone by Saturday and it will be in the mid 70's. Great weather for me and Sarah to do the 5K. Can't wait for that! The walk is taking place in downtown Cleveland at the Browns Stadium. Stamping trails Karen

Happy Spring!!!

Happy 1st day of Spring to all! With all the beautiful weather we have been having lately I want to say happy Summer! Been in the upper 70's for six days now and I'm just loving it!!!

I used Nature Walk stamp set, and Paisley Petals designer paper. I have to say my favorite part of this card is the little bird nest. It was actually an after thought. The card was looking a little bare without any embellishments.
