Easter Bunny Pocket Letter Punch Art

I know Easter is long over, but I wanted to share this

pocket letter I made for my friend Kathleen. 

I couldn't show it off earlier as I didn't get her Easter swap mailed out till last week. 

Didn't want to post a photo till she got to see it. 

This letter was pretty easy to make. Just used paper from an Easter pack by Echo Park. 

The bunny at the lower right was made with different punches. 

Here is a closer view. Used small white pom-poms for the muzzle. 

I thought he was super cute!

Mini 3 Pocket Letter from Beverly

My crafty friend Beverly, and I did a mini 3 pocket letter

swap. Have to say I was thrilled when her

envelope arrived. Love the vintage ladies that she used! 

Pocket letters are so much fun to make. They are 

normally a full sheet which is 9 pockets. 

Depending on how much you embellish them they

can take a lot of time to create. That is why every once

in awhile I like making the mini 3 pocket ones. 

Well yesterday was just perfect to be outside. 

Hubby started planting the garden. Can't

wait to get fresh veggies again!

Cards from Kathleen

My crafty friend Kathleen sent me this adorable card for Easter. 

So sweet, and in blue! She knows how much I love blue. 

Over the next few days I'll be sharing some other great art that Kathleen 

sent me in an Easter box. 

This card was made using crafters companion box #7.

Just lovely! 

and a shaped circle card using the same kit.

Sewing Pocket Letter, and ATC

Just posting some swaps that I received last week. 

This landscape style sewing themed pocket letter was

made by Marisel. Love how whimsical it is. Those

ladies glued to the front of the letter are so fun! 

Lots of goodies in the back with extra ephemera. 

I received this St. Patrick's Day themed artist trading card

from Carmen. So pretty, and green!!!!! Lots of extras to

use on my next St. Paddy's day project.

Coffee themed Pocket Letter

Is there anyone out there that doesn't like coffee? 

Well I know my son doesn't for one. 

I however love my coffee!!!!! 

This is a coffee themed pocket letter I made for a swap.

then layered the brown, and cream color flowers. Pearl was added to the centers. 

View of top row. I didn't add a lot of embellishments or stamping

this go round as I normally do. I love the paper pack so well 

that I wanted it to be the star. I picked it up at Michael's in the hot buy

section. It's called Brewtiful day. 

Closer look at the lower pockets. 

In hind site I should have attached the mug in the center pocket to the

outside so it could have been center better. Oh well I always find some fault in

everything I make after the fact. LOL 

Pouring down the rain today. Glad I got in two walks yesterday when it was so nice out.

Sewing Themed Pocket Letter with a Twist

This is a pocket letter that was completed

in landscape. 

I joined a swap to make a sewing themed pocket letter

with the twist that it had to be done in landscape. 

I've made many pocket letters, but never made one this way before.

Punched the hearts in dark brown. Next I added white gel pen stitching, 

and added some random buttons. The banner is clipped to the 

pocket with mini clothespins. 

I tried to use actually sewing notions in this letter. 

Many of the cards have actual pieces of a sewing pattern on them. 

You can see in the upper right corner I used a safety pin, and

a needle threader. 

The center card is filled with mini buttons and beads to make a shaker. 

Hope my partner enjoys it.

Campbell Kids Mini Christmas Pocket Letter

Several years ago I picked up a box of Campbell's Kids cards. 

They are perfect for artist trading cards as they are the same size. 

I just added a few embellishments. Think this mini pocket letter 

turned out cute! 

I have a ton of these cards. There are different seasons, and 

other designs on them. Planning on making a full size pocket letter

with them showing all the seasons.

Emoji Pocket Letter

Don't ask me why, but I've been wanting to make an emoji 

pocket letter for at least a year. 

Stampin'Up had a color many moons ago called

Yo-Yo-Yellow. I had one sheet left, and thought

it made the perfect color for the cards. 

They were embossed with a Sizzix folder called Smile

Emoji's. Found the set at Hobby Lobby when they were 

on clearance. The folder also came with a set of die cuts. 

See the little pile of poo in the bottom left corner. 

That was made with one of the dies. 

The winking face on the side bar is actually a coin

purse. Can't remember where I got it, but

I thought it looked great on this letter.

Vintage Lady Pocket Letter

I finished my vintage lady pocket letter. 

Since I only had 4 of the larger ladies I put them

in each corner of the letter. 

The remaining pockets are filled with pages 

from the vintage Sears and Roebuck catalog. 

I backed each one of the catalog pages with cardstock as

the catalog pages are pretty thin.

Of course I used a page from the corset department! 

The images on those pages are colored with Prisma pencils. 

I also added some tiny black and cream pearls. 

Love the way this one turned out so much that

I will not be trading it. Going into my private collection! 

How could I part with it? It is so me.

Mini Pocket Letter Vintage

Had fun crafting with my friend Betty yesterday. 

I worked on, and completed this mini black, and white pocket letter for

 

a swap I joined. 

 

I love the beads on the side. Gives the project some bling.

 

Just what us girls need.....bling! 

 

Were were allowed to use just a touch of one color so I used

 

pink for the lips, and bow on the side bar. 

 

I like how it turned out so much that I will be making another

 

one to put in my book. 

 

Rained a lot yesterday morning. When I was driving to Betty's

 

I had to go on the side of the road to avoid a downed power line. 

 

Today I'll be working in the craft room. I'm really de-junking. 

 

The move to the upstairs is going to take lots of time after the 

 

room is finished as I have so much stuff! Planning on having a 

 

yard sale sometime in May.

CD Case Swap with Kathleen

Happy Monday. 

Today I want to share a goodie box that my friend Kathleen sent to me. 

Here is the CD case that she decorated. 

So pretty. I like how she cut the little diamond shaped element, 

and layered them together before placing on the heart.

and the next pages. Not going to post the entire case, but it is

filled with goodies! 

Wonderful pocket letter. All the projects were made using 

Spring Bough paper pack from Michael's. 

Back few of the goodies. 

I love these stickers with matching washi tape! I'm seeing

them being used with my doll stamps. 

Set of cards she made using a 6x6 One Sheet Wonder template. So

glad she sent me a copy of the template. I have lots of 6x6 paper that I 

can use to make cards using the template. 

and this card. We always include one card in our swaps with a note.

Great job Kathleen! Can't wait for the Easter swap!

Christmas Advent Pocket Letter from Rosalie

I joined an advent calendar swap back in October. 

This one  required three pocket letters with

each pocket labeled with numbers 1 through 25. 

I received my swap from Rosalie yesterday. 

Like how she sealed the pockets closed with washi tape. 

Here is how the back looks with the envelopes filled with goodies

for me to open each day. How fun!

extra pockets were also decorated.

opening up the envelopes with goodies inside during the month of December. 

Today I need to start my food prep for the big turkey dinner. Also

have an Optimist meeting tonight. Going to be another

cold day here. Even colder on Thanksgiving. Good thing I'll be

cooking a turkey. The kitchen should be nice and toasty!

Three Pocket Letter Advent Swap

I joined an advent pocket letter swap with the 

Swappers Corner FB group. 

Three pocket letters that had to have the numbers 1 through 25 on them. 

I just didn't want my partner to have the three pocket letters without

presenting them in some way.

So I got a 3/4 binder, and used some of the same paper to decorate the covers.

 

Lets look inside. 

On the inside I added some festive things that my partner could use. 

I found this Christmas Graphic 45 paper pack at Hollo's, and knew

it would be perfect as it had two sheets of paper that had the numbers 1 -25. 

To hold the goodies for each pocket I used a small envelope that

I also colored, and stamped. 

This is the second pocket letter number 10 through 18. 

and the last one. Numbered 19-25. Since the pocket letters have

9 pockets each there were two of them left over. I expanded number

25 to take up two pockets, then I just decorated the last pocket. 

I think it turned out adorable! Hope my partner likes it. 

Have to get this in the post this week.
