Well I have been wanting to make one of these cases since I first
saw them on Pinterest.
Made from a large wood mount box (stampinup) with a drawer handle
attached to the top.
And I love, love, love this designer paper. Its long since been retired, but
I was smart to buy 2 packs of it.
Let me show you how I filled the inside.......
Its a mini on the go travel stamping kit.
There are six 3 x 3 note cards with envelopes, doilies, a covered tape runner
to match, stamps, ink spot, and some bobbins that have trims wrapped around them.
And no case would be complete without a few pieces of candy.
You can see how the handle was attached with screws. Hubby was
so sweet as he took me to Home Depot to get the handles then
he drilled the holes to attach them.
Closer view of the tape runner. I just traced around holder then cut
it down to fit. After the stamping was done I ran it through the Xyron machine
to stick it on. Both sides were completed the same way.
Side view. I added several different trims around the handle.
I also added a little gold butterfly charm to the top.
I'm sure I'll be making several more of these. They would make great
birthday/Christmas gifts for my stamping friends. Of course that
means I'll have to put in an order as I'm out of large cases! Its always something!
I'm thinking a Christmas one would be fun, and I just got a pack of Christmas
designer paper from the new catalog.
