Punch Bunny Embellishment Container

So how cute is this little fellow?

Made from different punches and an empty

SU embellishment container.

It is attached to a paper straw. Making some to use

in flip bags I'm working on.

Here you can see the container open. I used some designer paper

to line the inside.

While we are talking flip bags. Here is a bottom

view of one I just finished. I did something a bit different.

Instead of using a solid colored bag I used one that was printed.

Then I glued solid colors to the bottom where the pocket is made.

The grass on the bottom was made with fringe scissors.

I'm happy with how it turned out.

Clearance Stuff from Jo-Ann

My Joann finds from Sunday.

Now the doilies on top were not on clearance but were

on sale for 1.10 a pack. Its a new section called Ms. Sparkle and

company. Lots on bins filled with different embellishments.

I really liked the caramel colored doilies. Will look great with coffee and

tea stamps. Course I had to have black ones too. These doilies are 4".

Splurged on Tim Hotz stuff.

Sorry I just now saw that there is a glare from the packaging. Too lazy

to got take another photo. LOL. But this one has a cool sewing machine, and

dress form stamp in the set.

LOL stamp. I used one of these in yesterday's post. Set

has sayings all about wine. Love it!

This one is all about birthday days. I like

the one that reads "my birthday suit is wrinkled"

There is also a quote from Julia Child " a party without a cake is just a meeting"

Gotta love that saying!

Yes I got more washi tape!

Vintage Tim Hotlz stickers. Will be good with the flip books that I making.

This box I picked up because I'm thinking of making

a memory box with stuff about my dad.

Another thing by Tim Holtz. This is a portfolio. Done with heavy duty

craft paper. Will be great to alter.

Okay so now I have all this great stuff to work with I'll be

in the stamping studio if you need me!

Mailable Monday #184

Meet Dita. She is new doll I recently acquired.

I had some good luck yesterday.

Me and hubby went to Ruby Tuesday for

and early dinner. Afterward stopped by JoAnns.

So glad I did! They re-did the stamping and scrapbooking

section so lots of the old stuff was on clearance. YAY!

Can you say HAPPY!

The stamp I used on today's card came from one the stamps

I picked up. I think I have all of the Hampton Arts LOL stamp sets now.

They work so nicely with the doll stamps.

I'll be back tomorrow with photos of the stuff I got.

On a side note about Ruby Tuesday. They have a Fit and Trim menu.

I got the bourbon chicken which only has 275 calories and tastes great!

They also have healthy side options. I got the grilled zucchini which only has

41 calories. I did splurge and got the rice pilaf. 160 calories there. I think

next time I'll get a double order of the zucchini because it was amazing!

Oh and just say no to the garlic cheese biscuits. They are small covered with

butter and are 110 calories for each one. I let hubby eat them.

Punchy Spring Bunny

Well the snow is all gone and suppose to be in the

40's today.

This cute little bunny card was made with different

punches.

The little flower is is holding is one of the stickers I got

at Marc's for .33 cents a sheet.

And take a look at the designer paper.

I used some of it for the bunny ears, and tummy.

Paper is called French Flea Market by Julie Nutting.

I think I'm going to have to order another pack.

Not much going on today. We are planning to go

to dinner at Rudy Tuesday. Skip loves that place.

I think as it warms up I'll be taking a walk outside.

And I really need to shovel out the craft desk....again!

If I would only learn to put things away as I good....but

doing that messes with my creative process....that's my story

and I'm sticking to it!

Snow!

Well look at what I woke up to this morning!

SNOW!

This is the pine tree in the back yard.

I opened up the kitchen window so I could take

a better photo. BRRRR. Its cold.

I guess I shouldn't have opened the window because

the way the snow is blowing it was coming in on me.

View from the front door.

Its great that we don't have a storm door anymore.

All I have to do is open the front door and I have

a clear view.

Poor Skip. Not enough snow to close the schools, but

enough to make the school a mess with the kids tracking

the snow and salt through the building.

I took this photos just a few minutes ago. Its really

coming down. Taken at 9:25 am.

Was going to go get some shopping done this morning as

I need to hit the grocery store. Doesn't look like I'll be

doing that. Think I'll just stay in the stamping studio today.

Little Leprechaun Peppermint Patty

Happy1st day of March!

Winter is just about over.

I saw blue jays, cardinals, and robins in my back

yard yesterday. So nice to them back!

I made this cute little leprechaun from different punches.

His nose is a little wood plug that I painted red with a marker.

Here is a side view. I put a peppermint patty in the inside.

Also made some clover tags with buttons and washi tape.

and some misc things made with Graphic 45 designer paper, and

the fuse tool.

I took a walk yesterday down to the Dollar store. It was

about 45 degrees out and sunny. I just felt up to a walk.

Good to get out and do that.
