Decorated Artist Trading Card Fall Box

Artist Trading Card box holder. Got this

from Graphic 45. It came as kraft colored box.

I painted it brown then added the patterned paper.

Open view.

The box came with three tags so I went ahead and decorated them

to fit the Fall theme of the box.

Second tag.

Last one.

Here is a view of the that squirrel again. Isn't he cute!

Stamped with black ink then colored with Prisma pencils.

Fall Themed Embellishments

Some Fall themed embellishments I made yesterday.

Used some different thinlits, and chipboard to make them.

Remember all those leaves I made and posted last week?

Well I used some to make these embellishments.

Closer view.

and the last one I made a rosette to mount the chipboard on.

So warm out! Me and hubby went walking around the lake yesterday

later in the afternoon, then we went to Eatin Park for dinner.

It's just after midnight that I'm writing this post. It is still in the 70's out.

How wonderful is that! Bad news of yesterday the Indians lost are

are out of the rest of post season. They had a good season, but it would

have been nice if they could have won the World Series this year.

Scarecrow Skinny Card

No stamping on this skinny card.

The stickers were purchased at A.C. Moore.

Happy fall was done on my dymo machine.

Popped up the pumpkin, and leaf to give

the card some depth.

This is for a swap I'm doing with the Swappers Corner FB group.

We are having the best 1st week of October. Even though we have

had some rain it has been very warm. Best of all the Cleveland

Browns beat the Ravens yesterday! How cool is that!

Halloween 2 Liter Bottle Swap

Joined a bottle swap, so here I am back with another

2 liter bottle to mail.

I wrapped some twine around the neck of the bottle and attached

a plastic spider. Hope it goes though the mail without coming off.

After filling with goodies I used pattern paper around the center,

then did a layer in white. This one has the mailing info. Added some

washi tape, and stickers.

Such a wet and yuck day! Made some banana bread early this morning just

to take the chill off the first floor. Hubby has been saying all day that maybe

we need to turn on the heat. I told him it is suppose to be in the 80's for the

next 4 to 5 days. He can put on a sweater. It is not that cold today.

Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves, and Cascading Fall Card

Well the leaves are beginning to turn on the trees.

I've been creating my own works of art leaves in my craft room.

These were cut with Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves die.

First I cut the different card stocks to the size of the die, and

ran them though the Big Shot with the die 3 layers at a time.

That saved my arm from cranking so much. I might have been

able to do four at a time, but then handle on the machine gets a little

harder to turn.

Some of the leaves were then embossed with different folders.

I also used Ranger Distress rock candy crackle paint on some.

Other mediums I used to decorated them, Perfect Pearls Mists heirloom gold,

glossy accents, and gold ultra thick embossing enamel.

Now what am I going to do with all those leaves ( I made 70 of them)

Here is one project. A friend asked me to create a 40th wedding anniversary

card in a fall theme. I thought right away of making a cascading card.

Side view.

and a overheard view of the card folded flat.

Had to make a Hollo's run yesterday as the envelope

I thought would fit it was just a tad bit to small. So

glad Hollo's paper store is just around the corner from me.

Photos of me through the Years.

Anytime a a birthday rolls along I go through some

photos, and post them on the fridge. So this time it was my turn.

These are just random ones that pulled out of me at different

ages. Try not to laugh please!

and since I have a double door fridge.....had to

put up more.

Roses from my hubby.

Cake I made and decorated. Family offered to buy me a cake,

but since I love to bake, and I like my cakes better. I made my own.
