Chapel Card

Still struggling to get over this cold, but I did get into the stamping studio yesterday. Really wishing for a studio on one of the upper floors. Then it wouldn't be so cold in the winter while I'm trying to stamp.

The church stamp is by Stampadilites. My friend Lisa put this stamp into our new stamping challenge. Cardstock Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, and Perfect Plum. Card was made using Trellis Window technique from the new CD the Technique Junkies put out. CD is called Emboss or Die. Lots of great techniques to get more out of embossing folders and dies. And see those little pearls in the center of the paper flowers? I used a new tool I picked up months ago. Tool is called i-rock made by imaginisce. Really cool tool to use. The gems have adhesive on the back of them. You put the gem glue side down then use the battery operated tool on top of the gem. This will melt the adhesive and the gem will stick to the project. Totally COOL TOOL!!!! Want to check it out visit there website here

Wanted to show you the inside of the card. I know the Chapel looks like its crooked, but it doesn't look that way when you are looking at it through the window.

Kids are on Spring break this week so hubby is working day shift. He is so complaining about it. He prefers to be on second shift. Poor thing is not a morning person. Wonder how he ever made it during all those years in the service.

Still really cold here. We have been having lots of sunshine but the temps have been in the low 30's during the day and going into the 20's at night. BRRRRRRR
