Pansy Seed Holder

This is one of the pansy gifts I made for my friend Kat.

The pansy was made using the SU butterfly punch and Shimmery White cardstock.
After punching I misted the cardstock with water then used an aqua painter and reinkers to add the color.

Here is the inside view. This project was sized to hold a seed packet.
I'll have more pansy projects tomorrow!

Using the butterfly punch looks so much more like a pansy than the new Pansy Punch. I think they should have called the new punch something else. Your slider card with your pansy is darling!!

I was thinking the same thing Jenny. I don't think the new pansy punch in the catalog looks anything like a real pansy

Pretty, pretty! Love the pansies made this way. We don't have any pansies, and I'd bet I could make believe we did if I made some of these! Thanks for sharing!

This reminds me of spring and what a great idea to pair it up with seeds.

Karen, I love pansies too - guessa because it was my Grandpa's fave flower and I loved him so much. All your creations make me want to be more creative, and I guess that's all any of us want!!
