Take a Tip Tuesday # 12

Today's tip is using the Ticket punch to make a slot on the

side of a card to run ribbon around.

I used Tea Party stamp set, with Delicate Designs embossing folder,

and Ovals Collection Framelits.

Color Palette: Vanilla, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, and Crushed Curry ribbon.

Start by cutting 81/2 x 11 cardstock in half to create a A2 size card.

Score the card as you normally would (at 4 1/4)

The slide the smaller ticket from the ticket punch into the score line

where you want the ribbon to be placed. Then punch. Remember you

don't need to punch the entire small ticket just a little bit will create enough space

for the ribbon to slide into.

Here is a view of the slot that was created by using the smaller ticket

along the score line of the card.

Now if you don't own the ticket punch you can use a craft knife to

make the slit for the ribbon.

Busy day......Window installers are coming at 8. That will take most of the day

I'm sure. Along with that I'll have to keep a close watch on the new kitten to

keep her out of trouble. Photos of the kitten will be posting on tomorrow's

blog post.
