Fold a Long Mason Jar Card

Well I had fun yesterday. Got out the house and went to

Pat Catan's to do some shopping. One

of the things I bought was this cool thinlit Fold-a-Long card by Sizzix.

I used the silver foil to make the lid of the mason jar.

The belly band I made using designer paper, and the little

rosette is made with the outside lace part of a paper doily.

Oh I also used Timeless Textures stamp set with Marina Mist ink

to add some stamping to the jar.

And here is the inside view. Cuppa stamp set and the matching thinlits used for

the jar. Since it is a Mother's Day card I added the little cup. Kinda

like Mrs. Pots, and Chip from Beauty and Beast that is what my inspiration came from.

Colors used Marina Mist, Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, and Blushing Bride.

I couldn't update the blog on Saturday due to my camera battery died, and I couldn't find

the charger. I looked all over for it and finally found it in the upstairs craft room.

Not much going on today. I do have to go hit the grocery store not a fun chore, but has

to be done. Suppose to be warm today in the 60's so I'll enjoy just being out.

I finally found a Pat Caton's store. I was visiting my grandson at The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio and saw one. My grandson was so sweet he took me there and waited for me while I shopped. Found some neat stuff. I remember hearing Michael's were taking over but I hope they keep their unique items and paper. Michael's just has the same "run of the mill" stuff!!

So happy you got to shop at Catan's. I'm hoping they won't change since
Michael's bought them.
