Lots of Pockets Journal

This is a little journal I made using a piece of 12x12 paper.

It features pockets in the front back, and also on the

inside front, and back covers.

Lots of places to tuck in little ephemera pieces. Planning on making these

for birthday gifts this year. This one was given to my friend Betty who just

had a star spangled birthday on the 4th of July.

Inside look at the cover. This project it best suited

to be used with double sided paper.

I used a strip of ribbon down the center where the journal

signature is attached. Since it was pattern paper I wanted to give

the spine some extra support.

This is one of the pages. I added a square fold out piece to the bottom

corner.

After the paper clip is removed it folds out for more journaling space.

and here is a page with a corner flap. It also folds out for more writing space.

Center of the book has a little charm attached to the binding.

and here is a view of the inside back page.

These little journals are so much fun to make!!!!

They would also make great happy mail.
