Happy Mailable Monday!
Today I'm posting three cards, and will be speaking about what I call the
power of "three"
When you are making simple no layer cards you still can achieve depth
with just three stamps, and three colors....the power of three!
This card features the dragonfly inked with Night of Navy from
Awesomely Artistic stamp set. Leaf inked with Garden Green, from Timeless
Textures stamp set, and the bottom stamp was inked with Crumb Cake.
Start with your lightest color when layering the stamps.
Okay lets check out the second card. The lace stamp is from
Grateful Bunch with Smokey Gray ink.
Teacup is from Thanks a Latte inked with Rose Red.
The last color with the cactus is Always Artichoke. With this card
the teacup was the perfect place to add a greeting, but as you see in the first
card a greeting on the front is not always needed.
And here is my last example using the power of three.
I inked the vine with Old Olive, the flowers were gone over with Cajun Craze marker.
There is a splotch of Crushed Curry, and the third stamp using the straight lines
was also done in Cajun Craze. Again I didn't use a greeting on the front, but this
type of card would function great as a note card, or if a greeting is needed it can be stamped on the
inside.
So get out your stamps and ink, and use that power of three to create some great
Mailable Monday cards.
