Washi Tape VC Rocks Warmup Blog Hop

Now back to my card, and the Washi tape........

This is the first time I've used Washi Tape. SU has some pretty ones coming up in the new 2013-2014 catalog.

To make the rosette I cut a strip of Daffodil cardstock 1 inch x 8 1/2 inch. I added the Washi tape to the strip. After that the strip was scored 1/4 all the way across. After I pleated the folds I glued the ends together to form a ring then it was glued to a cardstock circle. I used the 1 3/8 circle punch for that. I find it is easier to use a low temp glue gun for the rosette. Holds together better. Lastly I added a vintage button which will also be in the new catalog. Love them!
